A few things we're looking at:

• the Sargeson Prize - open to New Zealanders or permanent residents. First prize is a $10,000 award. Closes 30 June 2024.
• the NZ Flash Fiction Competition. Closes 30 April 2024. Open to all NZ Citizens and residents. Can submit up to three stories.
